Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, or related field required
Minimum 8 years experience in customs regulations and brokerage preferred
Deep knowledge of U.S. import regulations, tariff classifications, country of origin, and valuation
Strong vendor management skills with the ability to influence brokers and service providers
Proven track record in process improvements and compliance best practices
Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Supervisory experience preferred
Experience with supply chain security programs and duty drawback highly valued

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, or related field
Minimum of 8 years experience in customs regulations and brokerage
Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations, tariff classifications, and valuation
Proven vendor management and stakeholder influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance improvements
Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP preferred
Knowledge of supply chain security programs such as CTPAT and OEA
Supervisory experience with delegation and training preferred

Job Duties

Lead compliance excellence in U.S. and Canadian customs operations
Manage customs brokers and freight forwarders including performance reviews and SOPs
Identify and implement improvements to cross-border efficiency and risk reduction
Provide strategic guidance on trade compliance and regulatory updates
Develop and enforce customs policies on classification, valuation, and recordkeeping
Analyze trade data to assess risks and guide decisions
Deliver training on compliance best practices to teams and partners
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, legal, and business units
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance compliance and processes
