Job Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in customs entry writing brokerage or import operations
  • Strong understanding of HTS classification ACE/ABI systems and U.S. import compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and entering data
  • Ability to manage multiple entries and meet strict filing deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in customs entry writing brokerage or import operations
  • Strong understanding of HTS classification ACE/ABI systems and U.S. import compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and entering data
  • Ability to manage multiple entries and meet strict filing deadlines
  • Experience with CargoWise or Descartes highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate customs entries including ISF and entry summaries
  • Review commercial invoices bills of lading packing lists and other shipping documents for compliance
  • Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and apply appropriate duty rates
  • Communicate with clients carriers and government agencies to resolve holds exams and clearance issues
  • Maintain clear and organized records and support the licensed broker with compliance tasks
