Job Requirements
- CHB license required
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years experience in customs brokerage
- knowledge of HTSUS and regulations
- excellent communication skills

- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- familiarity with CargoWise
Job Qualifications
- CHB license required

- at least 5 years experience in the customs brokerage industry
- knowledge of HTSUS, regulations and classification
- excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- ability to identify issues and act urgently to resolve them
- aptitude for simple accounting and analytical skills
- proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Excel
- CargoWise experience a plus
Job Duties
- Maintain Alba employee POA in accordance with 19 CFR 111.2(a)(II)(1)
- conduct reviews and audits per company Audit SOP and post results in CargoWise
- review Powers of Attorney received for validity and accuracy and process applications such as bond, ACH, CF5106
- conduct daily reviews of import compliance visual boards and reports and drive corrective actions when needed
- develop training topics and present webinars for staff
- assist Branch Managers with monitoring report reviews
- ensure branch employees are updated on Customs and PGA developments by reviewing publications and websites
- communicate with Customs and Other Government Agencies regarding compliance issues
- actively participate in company branch and operational meetings
- meet with customs compliance, sales, executive and administrative management as needed
- ensure proper and timely filing of PSCs, protests, petitions, supplemental duty tenders
- report all penalties and liquidated damages to management
- manage post entry activities from start to finish as needed
- monitor TIB entries and notify clients of status during bond duration
- prepare and hold regular webinar training sessions on customs rejects, entry audit results, problems discovered during daily reviews, and new customs/OGA developments
- assist entry personnel with compliance-related questions and issues
