Job Requirements
- Completion of vocational or technical degree
- Minimum 3 years of customs brokerage experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of US Customs regulations and import documentation
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Self-motivated with eagerness to learn
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software
- Capability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Job Duties
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Metro's workflow processes and Customs regulatory procedures, assisting team members with processing instructions and customs knowledge
- Act as a first-level escalation point for day-to-day issues and problem resolution, minimizing potential for service failures, risk, and loss
- Continue processing shipments timely and accurately while resolving routine and complex issues
- Serve as onboarding liaison and primary training contact for new team members
- Monitor overall production and workflow, assisting the supervisor in developing plans for increased efficiency and continuous improvement
- Provide training to staff to increase proficiency and knowledge
- Ensure work is evenly distributed based on client priorities and provide feedback to supervisory team
