Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a similar field preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience and knowledge of US Customs and Harmonized Tariff Codes
  • Experience with CargoWise One is strongly preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on-site full-time
  • Demonstrated commitment to the company
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills encouraged

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a similar field preferred
  • A Customs Broker License is preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years related experience and knowledge of US Customs and Harmonized Tariff Codes
  • Experience with CargoWise One is strongly preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare customs entries for all shipments to be submitted to U.S. Customs promptly
  • Review documents to check for accuracy and ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Identify products subject to OGA's
  • Derive Harmonized Schedule Tariff and enter OGA/PGA data
  • Communicate with customers on CBP, OGA, and exceptions
  • Manage daily tracking reports for open shipments
  • Handle accounting processes including the issuance of invoices and freight bill approval
  • Perform additional duties relating to Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarding operations
