Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or a similar field preferred
- 3-5 years related experience and knowledge of US Customs and Harmonized Tariff Codes
- Experience with CargoWise One is strongly preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site full-time
- Demonstrated commitment to the company
- Bilingual or multilingual skills encouraged
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or a similar field preferred
- A Customs Broker License is preferred but not required
- 3-5 years related experience and knowledge of US Customs and Harmonized Tariff Codes
- Experience with CargoWise One is strongly preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Prepare customs entries for all shipments to be submitted to U.S. Customs promptly
- Review documents to check for accuracy and ensure compliance with customs regulations
- Identify products subject to OGA's
- Derive Harmonized Schedule Tariff and enter OGA/PGA data
- Communicate with customers on CBP, OGA, and exceptions
- Manage daily tracking reports for open shipments
- Handle accounting processes including the issuance of invoices and freight bill approval
- Perform additional duties relating to Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarding operations
