Job Requirements
- five years experience in the forwarding industry
- hold current customs brokers license in good standing
- knowledge of customs laws, practices and procedures
- good working knowledge of FDA, F&W and other OGA transactions
- excellent organizational skills
- effective written and verbal skills
- competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Cargo Wise platform, AS400 platform brokerage

Job Duties
- responsible for compliance, training, recordkeeping, and supervision of all customs broker and import personnel
- oversee all transactions and interactions with US CBP, ISF, CFS, and other government agencies on local and national levels
- educate and train staff, identifying and assisting in strengthening areas of weakness
- assist and educate customers to ensure compliance with US CBP and other government agencies
- provide guidance to customers on general import concerns, including classification, valuation, preferential trade programs, and post entry work
- act as liaison for customers with regulatory agencies
- ensure subordinates are organized, productive, and compliant with government and company requirements
- supervise closely ISF filings to ensure 100 percent compliance
