Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years experience in customs brokerage or customs compliance
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation
- Experience with logistics coordination for offshore operations preferred
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations
- Proficient in relevant software applications
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a customs broker or in customs compliance within the oil and gas or maritime industry
- Strong knowledge of US customs regulations and maritime compliance
- Proficiency in ERP and customs management software
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation for international shipments
- Handle import/export declarations and ensure timely customs clearance
- Coordinate logistics for the dispatch of cargo to offshore installations
- Ensure compliance with customs and maritime regulations
- Liaise with customs agents, logistics providers, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records in ERP and customs management systems
- Follow up on inspections, permits, and regulatory approvals
