Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or logistics, preferably in wine or beverage industry
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance is preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics or customer service, ideally within the wine or beverage sectors
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with logistics software/CRM systems
- detail-oriented and organized
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and alcohol regulations highly desirable
- passion for wine a plus
Job Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries with a focus on orders, product availability, delivery schedules/issues, and general information
- heavy data entry utilizing ERP Microsoft Business Central
- work with a complex price list including hundreds of unique wine, spirit, and sake SKUs with varying pricing levels and discount structures
- provide professional and knowledgeable service to clients including private collectors, distributors, restaurants, and retailers
- handle returns, breakage claims, and customer complaints with efficiency and empathy
- collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure an excellent customer journey
- foster long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- manage daily order processing from purchase order receipt through to final delivery
- coordinate with distributors, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments
- track shipments and proactively communicate updates or delays
- ensure compliance with industry regulations such as customs, excise duties, and alcohol shipping laws
- prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, customs documents, and invoices
- maintain accurate inventory records, account allocations, and billing of shipments
