Furthermore, employees must follow occupational health and safety regulations rigorously to ensure their own safety and that of their colleagues.

The Customer Service Team Member must excel in customer service by demonstrating friendliness, attentiveness, and extensive product knowledge to enhance the customer experience. Excellent communication skills are vital for verifying orders accurately, engaging with customers within five seconds of arrival at service points, and working collaboratively with team members and management. This position is physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing, ability to stoop, bend, crouch, reach, twist, and lift weights ranging from light to moderate. Candidates must be capable of working in varied temperature conditions such as cold or freezing environments and periods of high heat. The role also requires normal auditory and visual skills, including the ability to hear and use headsets for extended periods during customer order processing. Regular and predictable attendance is essential to successfully fulfill daily operational demands.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • physical ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push or pull light to moderate weights
  • ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction
  • ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
  • ability to use and wear a headset for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Create a positive first impression by maintaining a clean and inviting dining room, parking lot, and proper attire
  • ensure coffee and products are always fresh and accurate by following REV procedures
  • deliver exceptional customer service through a friendly attitude, attentive behavior, and in-depth product knowledge
  • enhance the customer and employee experience by following the S.E.T. Principles: smile, eye contact, thank you
  • use proper procedures to ensure accurate orders, such as repeating the customer's order and verifying what products are being delivered to each customer
  • greet customers promptly and warmly within 5 seconds at the front counter and drive-thru
  • maintain speed of service targets by working efficiently and meeting customers' needs
  • adhere to all operational standards and guidelines for product preparation
  • prepare all products accurately by following the order monitor
  • communicate showcase and product needs to ensure availability for customers
  • regularly monitor and record temperatures of required products
  • keep the front counter and drive-thru area clean, organized, stocked, and ready for rush periods
  • follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards
  • practice proper hand washing techniques and adhere to sanitation guidelines
  • complete all sanitation tasks as outlined
  • work in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
  • follow safe work practices and procedures
  • use required personal protective equipment
  • report any injuries, accidents, unsafe conditions, or contraventions of health and safety regulations promptly to the Restaurant Manager or Human Resources
  • operate equipment and machinery safely to ensure the well-being of everyone
