Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • 1 year of related experience for Customer Service Rep or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of related experience for Senior Customer Service Rep
  • ability to work in a field and office environment
  • able to sit regularly
  • good vision
  • manual dexterity
  • ability to move/lift up to 10 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Performs billing activities
  • outbound calling
  • receives inbound calls
  • performs account adjustments
  • handles inside credit and collections
  • cashiering
  • manages energy diversion cases
  • counsels customers on available rate options
  • advises on debt payment obligations
  • processes service connections and disconnections
  • handles new service requests
  • responds to customer inquiries
  • dispatches services
  • resolves conflicts
  • provides professional and courteous customer service
  • resolves inquiries and complaints via person-to-person, telephone, email, or field visits
