Job Requirements

  • must obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate
  • ability to stand and walk for entire workday
  • ability to bend and stoop occasionally
  • capability of strenuous lifting and carrying activity for short periods
  • must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
  • must be able to perform basic math skills
  • must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently in the primary language
  • availability to work shifts as scheduled
  • ability to comply with food safety and sanitation requirements
  • must have excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • previous food service and/or cash handling experience preferred but not necessary
  • ability to perform basic math skills
  • demonstrate ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the work location
  • clear, courteous, and efficient communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety standards beneficial but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • greet customers and take food and beverage orders
  • accurately record customer orders on POS system
  • check orders for completeness and correctness
  • inform kitchen staff of shortages or special requests
  • handle cash and charge payments and maintain accurate cash drawer
  • maintain cleanliness of lobby, register areas, and displays
  • prep dough and other food items as assigned
  • assemble products and conduct quality checks
  • monitor oven settings and ensure food safety practices
  • prepare and assemble menu items according to specifications
  • maintain workstation cleanliness and safety standards
  • receive and store food, supplies, and materials accurately
  • maintain proper inventory controls and FIFO procedures
  • perform dishwashing and other cleaning duties as necessary
