Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proven experience in customer service or administrative role
  • Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400 systems preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Must be able to pass basic hazardous materials training
  • Dependable attendance record
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to pass basic hazardous materials training

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming customer calls and provide detail information
  • Notify customers daily of freight availability
  • Data entry for domestic and international bills
  • Maintain a driver sign in log
  • Maintain a cash log file
  • Maintain files as outlined in the operations procedures and policy manual
  • Perform daily audits on all outbound shipments
  • Arrive inbound manifest and close out outbound manifest in the AS400
  • Consistently monitor e-mail requests and provide detailed information in a timely fashion
  • Ensure regular and dependable attendance
  • Prepare in-bond documentation for smaller stations
  • Accept “containers” and proper documentation for smaller stations
  • Maintain office cleanliness including vacuuming and trash emptying for smaller stations
  • Process dock receipts for export bookings and maintain spreadsheets for smaller stations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
