Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months receptionist experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Professionalism and courtesy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple communication channels
  • Comfortable working closely with animals including dogs, cats, and exotics
  • Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Able to participate in team and self-directed work
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months receptionist experience including multi-line phones or related customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Professionalism and courtesy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with dogs and cats preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service to clients and visitors
  • Communicate hospital and center policies and procedures in a positive manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations
  • Respond to client communications including face to face, phone calls, email, written communications and faxes
  • Maintain client and animal records accurately
  • Handle monetary transactions for check out and retail purchases
  • Communicate urgent issues to Hospital staff
