- 1-3 months of cashiering experience preferred

Job Duties
- Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service assistance by providing customer service, greeting and acknowledging each customer, and being knowledgeable of store products and policies
- Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions through registers to itemize and total customer purchases
- Collect payment in form of cash, check or credit from customers and able to provide accurate change when needed, and the transaction receipt
- Record daily transactions from cash register to balance drawer by counting money at the beginning and end of each shift
- Complete customer service projects and delegate to other cashiers when needed
- Assist in training of new customer service cashiers
- Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and be able to clearly explain all benefits
- Maintain orderly appearance of customer service and surrounding areas
- Ability to perform basic math
- compute rate, ratio and percent
- draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Electively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
