Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to work full time
physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting and pushing heavy carts
good communication skills
basic math skills for cash handling
flexibility to work in various weather conditions
reliability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
experience in customer service or retail is a plus
ability to operate cash registers and cash recyclers
basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
strong interpersonal and communication skills
physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties

Retrieve used carts and keep carts available in designated areas
check customers out at registers
pick up litter in lot, landscaping, and sidewalk along property boundaries
identify and report light bulb burn-outs
change bulbs reachable with an A-frame ladder
empty exterior trash cans when full
assist any disabled or overburdened customers
put on rain gear and escort customers to cars when raining
operate the cash recycler
follow the cash handling, uniform, and other relevant policies
proper bagging of groceries separating produce and raw meat
reporting problems as required part of the job
