The Customer Service Associate plays a vital role within the store, reporting directly to the Sales and Service Manager. This position focuses on engaging customers at strategic points such as the Cashier Area and Club Desk, where excellent service delivery throughout the checkout and customer interaction processes is imperative. The associate will be responsible for processing returns, exchanges, gift cards, and lesson redemptions while upholding the store’s standards of neatness and organization in the front-end area. This role demands a personable and attentive team player who ensures transactions are processed securely and efficiently according to Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, the associate will provide customers with pertinent product information, promote current store promotions and loyalty programs, and assist in maintaining a premiere stock and merchandising presence to drive sales. Their day-to-day responsibilities include managing front-end equipment and supplies, answering customer queries, and championing the company’s products and service offerings. By embodying the values and service behaviors promoted by PGATSS, the associate contributes to creating lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and support the overall growth and success of the store. This position requires flexibility regarding working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the company’s dedication to delivering consistent and high-quality customer experiences.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to climb ladders and lift up to 30 lbs overhead

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Engage with every customer encountered and offer world class service by leveraging PGATSS service behaviors
  • Greet and engage customers throughout the Front-End areas (Cashier Area, Club Desk)
  • Execute all Front-End operations such as returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, coupons
  • Assist in keeping Front-End merchandise presence at a premiere stock and visual level
  • Ensure all Front-End equipment and supplies are maintained and operational
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
  • Maintain the Front-End area in a clean, professional presentation
  • Accept cash, credit/debit card payments, and gift cards securely following SOP
  • Answer basic product questions and direct customers when needed
  • Stay updated on merchandising promotions and marketing events
  • Inform, educate, and promote product and service offerings
  • Provide feedback to Sales and Service Manager on operational opportunities
