The position of Customer Service Associate (CSA) at Wawa serves as the critical frontline role in creating memorable customer interactions. As the initial point of contact for customers entering the store, the CSA embodies the company’s mission to make every day brighter. This role involves greeting customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously, and delivering exceptional service across multiple responsibilities. CSAs are pivotal in preparing a variety of fresh food items, including breakfast menus, sandwiches made to order, specialty beverages, and pizzas, all while maintaining cleanliness and organization of key service areas such as the coffee station.

Beyond food preparation, the CSA operates the cash register handling multiple payment methods, including cash, card payments, fuel and gift cards, and is responsible for executing accurate transactions involving age-restricted products through lottery and ID verification. The multitasking ability of CSAs ensures smooth operations even during busy hours, adding to the overall customer satisfaction.

CSAs are also tasked with maintaining store presentation by stocking shelves with fresh products, ensuring displays are inviting, and completing essential housekeeping duties like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal. Adhering strictly to store policies and safety guidelines guarantees a safe and hygienic shopping environment for both customers and team members.

This hourly position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.50 to $19.25, adjusted according to experience, location, and position level, with a $1.50 shift differential for overnight hours between midnight and 6 AM. Job Duties
