Job Requirements

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
  • Basic understanding of retail merchandising and inventory
  • Must comply with company procedures and asset protection policies
  • Ability to maintain respectful relationships with coworkers
  • Must complete required training and development modules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • Experience with Walgreens operations preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and cash handling abilities
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • Engages customers and patients by greeting and offering assistance
  • Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
  • Recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion items
  • Maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
  • Implements company asset protection procedures
  • Ensures compliance with state and local laws on regulated products
  • Assists with photo services and web order pickups
  • Maintains store cleanliness and appearance
  • Completes special assignments as needed
