Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 30 lbs
- ability to continuously walk and stand throughout shift
- basic understanding of cash handling and POS systems
- capable of following company standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Customer service and retail experience desirable
- bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Job Duties
- Greets and interacts with customers
- addresses questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- provides support to the Frontend team in the absence of the Frontend Manager
- operates front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
- demonstrates care and compassion for people
- builds and maintains positive team relationships
- enforces standards for quality, cleanliness, customer service, safety, and food safety
- engages in safe work practices and encourages others to do the same
- maintains presentation, cleaning, and organization of work area and team members
- utilizes POS and credit card systems
- handles cash and maintains balanced cash drawers
- processes returns, refunds, overcharges, and credits
- schedules coverage for Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks' breaks
- completes beginning and end-of-shift procedures
- performs all other duties as assigned
