The role of a Customer Experience Host at the Exchange is central to maintaining the high standards of service the organization is known for. As a Customer Experience Host, you will greet every customer with warmth and professionalism, efficiently complete transactions, and assist customers with their purchases including proper bagging and managing heavy items. The Customer Experience Host is expected to be adaptable and quick-thinking, capable of operating current retail technologies and providing solutions to customer inquiries on the spot. The role also requires physical capability to lift items up to 40 pounds and a willingness to cross-train in various store departments to provide comprehensive support. Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential to succeed in this role, alongside a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers and team members alike.

- Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs

Job Duties
- Greet every customer with eye contact and smile in your authentic way
- Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane to let them know you will be right with them
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation
- Help customers by following the proper procedure for bagging merchandise and moving large or heavy items
- Provide high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Assist with and/or operate a cash register, self-checkout cash register, or other sales related equipment
- Actively communicate/promote branded credit card, exchange protection plan and other corporate programs to customers to drive sales growth
- Report complaints, shrink issues, and problems with products, services, and work areas
- Assure compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security regulations
- Practice loss prevention procedures and alert management of potential fraud, waste, and abuse
- Perform other duties as assigned
