The Member Service Professional (MSP) role at American Express involves providing exceptional service to Card Members visiting the prestigious American Express Centurion Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW). Serving as the face of the company, MSPs are brand ambassadors who unitedly deliver an experience that excites and delights premium customers. This role requires a passion for outstanding customer service in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. MSPs are adept at offering travel, card, concierge, and lifestyle services tailored to the unique needs of American Express Card Members. They act as consultants by personalizing the company’s products and services to address the immediate requirements of the Card Members and to deepen their engagement with the brand.
The primary mission of the MSP is to bring the American Express Membership to life daily by welcoming Card Members, managing the entire customer experience from arrival to departure, and resolving any concerns innovatively to foster customer loyalty. The role integrates a Customer First philosophy, consistently exceeding customer expectations through personalized concierge and lifestyle recommendations. Additionally, MSPs provide travel consultation and limited reservation assistance, effectively collaborating with food and beverage lounge partners to accommodate all Card Member needs.
This position operates within the lounge's hours from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week, with flexibility necessary based on business needs. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $20.00 to $26.75, awarded with bonuses and benefits. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year recent customer service experience, preferably with premium customers
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle moderate lifting tasks
- Proficient internet and technology navigation skills
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Must maintain professionalism and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work within lounge hours from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year recent experience servicing premium customers
- Experience in airline, lounge, or travel industry preferred

Job Duties
- Welcoming and providing access to Card Members upon their arrival at the Centurion Lounge
- Being accountable and taking ownership of the customer experience from beginning to end
- Creating innovative ways to resolve customers' issues or concerns to win brand loyalty
- Employing the Customer First philosophy in meeting customers' needs and expectations
- Providing concierge and lifestyle recommendations tailored to Card Members
