The Day Porter role at CCS Facility Services involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderly condition of common areas within office buildings, apartment complexes, and other commercial or institutional properties. The Day Porter will perform a series of cleaning and maintenance duties such as spot cleaning lobby glass doors, polishing chrome surfaces on doors, vacuuming elevator cabs, inspecting building exteriors for trash, cleaning ashtrays and sand urns, emptying exterior trash receptacles, and checking restrooms twice daily. Additional responsibilities include sweeping stairwells and landings, maintaining landscaped areas, and assisting the building engineer as needed.

This role requires an individual who is dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious, capable of following instructions and responding positively to management direction. The Day Porter is expected to ensure safety standards are maintained and report any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues promptly. Furthermore, the position demands moderate physical activity, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.
