Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures
Capacity to perform physical tasks related to cleaning
Availability to work day shifts (6am-2pm or 7am-3pm)
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to work in a senior living environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work day shifts consistently
Good communication skills
Commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards

Job Duties

Ensure assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, sanitary and attractive manner
Ensure established infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained when performing environmental services procedures
Ensure adequate supplies are available and maintained in order to perform daily tasks
Ensure equipment and supplies are cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift
Clean and polish the community including windows and mirrors, walls and ceilings, furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units and floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping
Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting daily
Complete deep thorough clean of entire room as needed including prior to admission or after discharge
