Custodian/Day Porter

We are currently looking to hire a Day Porter, a vital role within our cleaning team, focused on maintaining a sparkling and safe environment throughout the school day. This position is based on-site at the school and operates Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with no weekend shifts. Offering a competitive wage of 16 dollars per hour, this role is perfect for those who take pride in their work and enjoy being a friendly and approachable presence on campus. The Day Porter acts as the face of our cleaning efforts during school hours, responding promptly to cleaning requests such as spills and messes, regularly maintaining restrooms, hallways, and common areas, and ensuring supplies are stocked and trash is managed effectively.

The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude, a reliable work ethic, and a willingness to contribute positively to a learning environment. This role requires physical stamina including the ability to walk or stand for the entire shift and lift up to 35 pounds.
