Job Requirements

must have reliable transportation
less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as, cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, will also require you have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
bilingual is a plus, not required

Job Qualifications

bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Job Duties

floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, and polishing metal and wood
waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and intervene in risky behavior
follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
respond to supervision and take direction
use proper personal protective equipment
present a professional appearance and conduct
understand reporting systems and environmental standards
transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
straighten areas including lobbies and conference rooms
assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, dust open common spaces
