This role is a part-time cleaning and building services position located at Andrews Air Force Base, with scheduled shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The pay rate is set at $18.24 per hour. As a Cleaning and Building Services Specialist, the employee will operate under the general supervision of the Project Manager and direct supervision of the on-site supervisor, complemented by secondary oversight from the Contracts Administrator. The primary responsibility is to maintain clean, safe, and well-organized public and work spaces in compliance with established contract specifications and safety standards.

The position requires performing daily comprehensive cleaning and upkeep tasks, policing and securing assigned areas, and ensuring supplies and equipment are properly managed. Duties include cleaning walls, window blinds, floors, restrooms, elevators, escalators, and building exteriors, including garages. The role also involves snow and ice removal from sidewalks, parking areas, and steps according to weather conditions, and performing routine glass and mirror cleaning alongside dusting and polishing furniture. The position demands attention to detail and adherence to safety and environmental protocols, as well as the ability to manage heavy items, use cleaning materials appropriately, and assist during special events with setup and takedown activities. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean and safe environment at Andrews Air Force Base, providing support not only to the general public areas but also to internal events and space functionality.
