The role available is for a Seasonal, Part-Time Custodian (Janitorial/Housekeeping) responsible for upholding the cleanliness and sanitary conditions within various assigned areas including exhibits, common spaces, employee break rooms, and other designated locations within the venue. This position is essential in maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests and staff alike by adhering strictly to approved cleaning procedures, including COVID-19 sanitizing guidelines. The Custodian will represent the organization's custodial standards through professionalism and conscientious work habits.

The Custodian's duties encompass a wide range of cleaning tasks using general janitorial equipment such as mops, vacuums, and other tools necessary for maintaining facilities in pristine condition. The work requires physical stamina as employees may be required to lift up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive movements including kneeling, crouching, reaching, and grasping. Knowledge and experience in operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, understanding occupational safety standards, and adherence to employee policies are critical for success in this role. The position demands a positive attitude, attention to detail, and flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities and involves no travel.
