Job Description
RNA Facilities Management has been a trusted provider of comprehensive facility services since 1991. With over three decades of experience, RNA specializes in janitorial services, facility maintenance and engineering, school bus transportation, snow and ice removal, painting, and landscaping. As a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Association, RNA embraces a holistic approach to cleaning and maintaining facilities that prioritizes environmental sustainability alongside exceptional service quality. The company has developed a unique "RNA Quality Standard" that combines efficient, effective, and eco-conscious cleaning methods designed to exceed client expectations consistently. This distinct standard underscores RNA’s commitment to redefining cleanliness while ensuring that the facilities they manage remain safe, welcoming, and impeccably maintained at all times.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a well-established facilities management company poised to deliver high standards of facility cleanliness. The position is designed for an energetic and detail-oriented janitor who will play a vital role in sustaining the cleanliness and appearance of multiple facilities. The janitor will be entrusted with ensuring the buildings are clean, orderly, safe, and well-maintained through a variety of daily cleaning tasks. These include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash and recycling bins, and performing minor repairs. Additionally, the role involves seasonal responsibilities such as removing debris and snow from sidewalks and making sure all doors are securely locked after hours.
Successful candidates will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management skills and the ability to handle routine maintenance duties effectively. The role also requires collaboration occasionally with contracted cleaning services and adhering strictly to company safety protocols, including driving a company vehicle when necessary. This position is a full-time opportunity that offers a diverse range of experience in facility maintenance, with working hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This role is essential in helping RNA Facilities Management uphold its green building values and maintain its reputation for excellence and eco-friendly facility management practices.
