Additional responsibilities include deep cleaning of offices, cleaning windows, restocking supplies, spot cleaning spills, localized pest control, and power washing outdoor walkways and building exteriors. Custodians are expected to handle urgent custodial needs promptly beyond their regular duties. The role also involves periodic projects like stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets, and refinishing and sealing floors to preserve campus infrastructure.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, relevant job-related experience, and the ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, carpet machines, and floor strippers. Candidates should possess entry-level reasoning and mathematical skills, allowing them to follow instructions and solve standard problems. Holding a valid California driver license is mandatory.
