HBM is currently seeking a dedicated and dependable Day Porter - Custodian to join their team in Honolulu, HI. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, encompassing a standard 40-hour work week. The hourly compensation for this role is $17.00, reflecting HBM's commitment to competitive wages within the industry. The Day Porter position is integral to maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of various facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, vacuuming, and operating specialized equipment such as side-by-side floor scrubbing machines. The role also requires cleaning restrooms and storage areas, handling trash removal and disposal, restocking supplies, and executing various tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.

Physical demands are an important aspect of this role; the candidate must be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting between 20 to 30 pounds. Furthermore, candidates are required to successfully pass the HBM prescreen check. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a foundational level of education to perform the job effectively.
