Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods regularly

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in commercial or facility cleaning preferred
- ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- good interpersonal and team working skills
- proficiency with computer-based systems including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to follow safety procedures and management policies
- customer service experience preferred
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize facility restrooms
- clean, dust, and wipe furniture
- sweep, mop, or vacuum floors
- empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
- replace light bulbs
- refill restroom dispensers and reorder supplies
- assist with setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, and events
- strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors
- vacuum and shampoo carpets
- use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools
- wash walls and equipment
- document cleaning activities on daily logs
- check for unlocked doors and windows and report unauthorized occupants
- turn off lights in vacant rooms
- remove debris from outside sidewalks, grounds, and parking lots
- use hand-operated tools or small power equipment
- move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools as needed
- wash accessible interior and exterior windows
- handle recycling materials
- assist with inventory control as needed
- enforce and support management policies
- perform related duties as required and requested
- follow safety procedures
- report safety concerns to supervisor
- cooperate and work with colleagues to make effective teams
- share information and ideas to improve effectiveness
- identify and understand quality criteria for task performance
- identify and report quality problems
- load and unload boxes, containers, and packaging materials
- operate manual pallet jack
- carry out any other assigned duties
