The position available is for a Custodian who will play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within office premises, washrooms, flooring areas, and common rooms including break and dining areas. This role requires an individual who can perform thorough cleaning tasks involving a variety of methods such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, dusting furniture, cleaning lavatories and restrooms, and undertaking heavy cleaning duties like deep-cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, in addition to removing rubbish. The custodian will also be responsible for routine maintenance of custodial equipment and informing management about any repair needs. This role is critical in promoting a clean, safe, and comfortable working environment that supports overall organizational productivity and employee well-being. Employment for this position is contract-based with a competitive hourly wage of $26.50 plus a fringe benefit of $4.98 per hour. This role is covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act, ensuring compliance with applicable wage and labor standards. Candidates must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph, reflecting the sensitive nature of the workplace environment requiring high levels of trust and security clearance. Weekend shifts are available and may be required occasionally, demanding flexibility and commitment from the candidate. Fluor Corporation acknowledges that the market salary for this role ranges approximately from $40,000 to $66,000 annually, with starting wages and final compensation reflective of experience, qualifications, and locale.
