The Custodian role at CACI is a full-time, regular position within the Facilities Department, requiring a Secret clearance to start. This key position is responsible for managing the overall building operations to ensure the facility is clean, safe, secure, and functional at all times. The Custodian will handle janitorial services, routine maintenance, and basic security duties. This involves tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting restrooms, and dusting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Additionally, the Custodian performs minor repairs like changing light bulbs and fixing leaks, while also monitoring entrances and exits to maintain security protocols.

This position demands a proactive approach with an emphasis on attention to detail and safety compliance. The Custodian maintains logs of completed cleaning and maintenance activities and reports any safety hazards or required repairs to management. Periodic deep cleaning duties including carpet cleaning and window washing will also be part of the role.
