Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of janitorial supervisory experience, preferably in a large facility, event center, or airport setting
  • proven ability to train, coach, and motivate custodial teams
  • bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
  • strong organizational, communication, and quality control skills
  • must possess basic computer proficiency and the ability to prepare and type daily reports accurately
  • working knowledge of floor care equipment and custodial best practices
  • ability to pass a background check and obtain a SIDA badge per airport requirements
  • authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required)
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks as needed
  • must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • supervise a team of 10-15 janitors and ensure staffing levels meet operational needs, particularly on high-traffic days
  • train new and existing employees on cleaning protocols, equipment usage, safety practices, and client-specific procedures
  • coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure adherence to service standards, safety procedures, and client expectations
  • submit daily shift reports to site manager detailing attendance, tasks completed, deficiencies noted, and any escalated issues
  • conduct routine quality control inspections and coach staff to resolve deficiencies
  • support the site manager in implementing best practices and meeting contract deliverables
  • maintain inventory and manage supply requests
  • respond promptly to client feedback and collaborate to ensure satisfaction
  • instruct staff on proper use of equipment, chemicals, and PPE
  • track attendance and assist with scheduling adjustments when needed
