The Custodial Services Lead Worker is a pivotal role within Aramark’s facilities management team, responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas that meet both customer and client satisfaction. This role typically involves oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the cleaning services operation. In this position, the Lead Worker schedules and assigns daily cleaning tasks to a custodial team and ensures their timely completion. The role requires strict adherence to established safety procedures, including OSHA regulations and local and federal laws, to provide a secure workplace. The Custodial Services Lead Worker must maintain and operate housekeeping equipment correctly and ensure storage and disposal of waste comply with company and client guidelines. Reporting maintenance issues and securing company assets also fall under the responsibilities of this role.

Job Duties
- Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a custodial team and leads all aspects of completion of tasks
- Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
- Accurately cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
- Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
- Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
- Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
- Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
- Ensures security of company assets
