The Custodial Services Lead Worker is a pivotal role within Aramark’s facilities management team, responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas that meet both customer and client satisfaction. This role typically involves oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the cleaning services operation. While specific duties may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs, the core objective remains maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment.

In this position, the Lead Worker schedules and assigns daily cleaning tasks to a custodial team and ensures their timely completion. The role requires strict adherence to established safety procedures, including OSHA regulations and local and federal laws, to provide a secure workplace. The Custodial Services Lead Worker must maintain and operate housekeeping equipment correctly and ensure storage and disposal of waste comply with company and client guidelines. Reporting maintenance issues and securing company assets also fall under the responsibilities of this role.

Candidates in this role need to be adaptable to the dynamic needs of guests and maintain a professional, positive demeanor in their interactions with guests, clients, and co-workers. Physical demands of the job include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms may also be required.
