Job Requirements

  • prior experience in food preparation or culinary roles preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to handle a fast-paced work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation within the food industry
  • knowledge of fine dining standards and practices
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • experience with menu planning and creativity in dish development is a plus
  • familiarity with dietary needs and ability to assist as a dietary aide when necessary
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills contributing positively to the kitchen atmosphere
  • previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • assist in menu planning including seasonal offerings and specials
  • ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner maintaining high quality and presentation standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace adhering to food safety regulations
  • collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours
  • monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the management team
