Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years kitchen experience
  • must wear closed-toe, slip resistant shoes
  • must have a high energy level, be self motivated, and a natural troubleshooter
  • has a passion for food and using the best ingredients
  • adheres to all SC Department of Agriculture requirements including following rules of cooling, time control of temperature and storing food properly
  • must communicate by Homebase and email
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs
  • is an active part of the Rosewood Market team, adhering to high standards of service, quality, and presentation

  • A true passion for food, people, and an eagerness to keep learning
  • able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of the team
  • must be highly motivated, hard working, and have an enthusiastic attitude
  • must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • must have problem solving skills, be flexible, creative, and able to adapt to change when required
  • current food handler certification (basic food safety) preferred but not required
  • must have reliable transportation and report to work in a timely manner

Job Duties

  • Assists in preparing fresh vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling menu items
  • assists in making sauces, salads, soups, and other dishes
  • maintains a clean and well organized prep space
  • helps receive, unpack, and store deliveries
  • collaborates closely with our culinary team to ensure smooth, high-quality service
  • treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect
