Job Requirements

  • culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum one year related high volume kitchen management experience
  • three years of line experience preferred
  • ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to perform under pressure
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or minimum of one year related high volume kitchen management experience
  • three years of previous line experience preferred
  • ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • ability to perform unsupervised at a high level
  • strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to effectively communicate and lead a team
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • supervise hourly cooks
  • produce consistent, quality food products
  • assist in department training
  • assume department responsibilities in the absence of the sous chef
  • monitor payroll costs and overtime
  • maintain kitchen operational standards
  • communicate effectively with team members
