Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking seasonal Culinary Supervisors to join its team at the highly anticipated Miami Freedom Park in Miami, Florida. Delaware North is a global hospitality and food service company with more than a century of experience in delivering superior guest service across various industries including sports venues, national parks, casinos, and hotels. In this role, Culinary Supervisors will play a pivotal part in ensuring the culinary operations at Miami Freedom Park maintain the highest standards of food quality and service excellence. The position involves supervising kitchen team members, monitoring food preparation processes and maintaining organized and sanitary kitchen environments. The supervisor will ensure all culinary activities comply with food safety standards, proper food storage protocols, and efficiency in food cost management. This position is ideal for experienced cooks who have supervisory experience and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where collaborative teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

The position offers lucrative hourly pay ranging from $23.00 to $25.00 and comes with access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional development of team members. Job Requirements

  • No college degree required
  • At least two years experience as a line cook including supervisory experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others and lead in a fast-paced environment
  • Attentive and detailed oriented
  • Basic math skills with an ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions

Job Duties

  • Supervise all team members and ensure food preparation and production meets quality standards
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers and ensure all kitchen equipment is in working order
  • Effectively supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food
  • Perform opening, closing and side work duties
  • Actively work to maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership
  • Partner with team members and restaurant managers to satisfy guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned
