Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional culinary training or relevant experience in fast-paced, high-volume food service
  • Food safety certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Commitment to adhere to uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • Professional training through culinary education or experience in fast-paced, high-volume fine dining or catering facility
  • Full service casual dining experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials and services offered
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced, team orientated setting
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English
  • Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push and pull approximately 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Availability for all Stadium events
  • Ability to work extended hours including late nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Follow Executive Chef and/or Sous Chefs assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • Report back to Chefs daily on progress and needs
  • Lead a team with respect and commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily
  • Perform daily uniform checks with staff and help Chefs maintain standards in the kitchen
  • Ensure assigned staff prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures
  • Maintain HACCP standards ensuring high-quality food, food temperatures, product rotation, cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • Ensure all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized and kept in safe operable condition and report issues to Chefs
  • Identify and store meats, poultry, seafood, pasta, starches, dairy products and all other food items according to established standards
  • Participate in inventory monthly for department of responsibility
  • Participate as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product
  • Adhere to Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
