Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in food service or culinary operations preferred
  • Ability to work full-time hours including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Completion of sanitation certification required or willingness to obtain it within the first year
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Physical ability to perform tasks associated with food service environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • Completion of a sanitation course prior to or within first year of employment
  • Skilled in managing a food service program to optimize cost and efficiency
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage emotions under pressure
  • Effective interpersonal conflict resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Schedule tasks and manage production processes
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
  • Uphold food safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate food safety and temperature records
  • Monitor and manage inventory and equipment maintenance
  • Supervise and develop employee performance and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • Communicate regularly with staff
  • Support catering event preparation and execution
  • Perform cashier duties as needed
  • Assist with additional projects as directed by management
