The role of Culinary Supervisor at Aramark is a full-time position focused on managing, supervising, and supporting food service operations within a food service establishment. The Culinary Supervisor will work closely with managers to organize activities and guide staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role carries the responsibility of scheduling employee tasks, managing production processes, monitoring inventory and equipment maintenance, and enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a pivotal role in driving team motivation, assessing staff performance, and fostering positive communication and relationships both within the team and with clients.

The Culinary Supervisor is key to maintaining a hygienic environment and overseeing the proper handling and storage of food products, aligned with Aramark's protocols. Additionally, the position involves participating in catering events, taking on occasional cashier tasks, and supporting various projects as directed by Food Service Directors or Managers. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service supervision preferred
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work full-time including sporadic evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • experience managing food service operations to optimize costs and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
