The Culinary Supervisor role at Legends is a vital position within its dynamic culinary team, reporting directly to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef. This role is primarily responsible for coordinating the daily kitchen operations to ensure seamless food preparation and service. The position involves overseeing the setup and preparation of food and non-food items, enforcing sanitation standards, and maintaining optimal stock levels via replenishment and rotation. The supervisor will contribute significantly to the input of daily event sheets and reports, ensuring all operational documentation is accurate and timely. This position demands rigorous adherence to company quality standards in producing menu items efficiently and with consistency. A key focus of this role is maintaining an organized work environment with proper storage and cleanliness while ensuring that opening and closing kitchen duties are flawlessly executed. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • two to three years of experience in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant
  • ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift and transport food and items up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • ability to perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures
  • report all safety incidents promptly

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • professional training through culinary education or experience in high-volume fine dining/catering
  • ability to interact with co-workers
  • extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services
  • assure compliance with service standards and inventory control
  • basic knowledge of food preparation, guest relations, and etiquette
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • ability to read, speak, and write English
  • ability to lift and transport food items up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds

  • mobility to perform production tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
