The Culinary Supervisor role at Legends is a fast-paced and dynamic position reporting directly to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef. This role is critical in managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations within the kitchens, ensuring a seamless culinary experience across all events held at the venue. The Culinary Supervisor will oversee food preparation, maintain high standards of sanitation and organization, and assist with inventory and stock management. This position demands not only culinary expertise but also strong leadership skills to work effectively with a team of culinary associates and other departments within the arena. The ideal candidate will have a professional culinary background with experience in high-volume, fast-paced fine dining or catering environments, bringing both passion and precision to every task. This role requires the ability to meet company standards diligently, exceed guest expectations, and uphold safety policies consistently. Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support a dynamic and ever-changing event schedule. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • professional training through culinary education or working in fast-paced high-volume fine dining restaurant or catering facility
  • full service casual dining preferred
  • ability to interact with co-workers
  • extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials, and services
  • ability to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • ability to multi-task in fast paced, team oriented setting
  • ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
  • two to three years working in fast paced high-end club or restaurant

Job Duties

  • Set up and prepare all food items
  • opening and closing duties
  • replenishment and rotation of stock as directed by the Chef
  • set up of non-food items for shift
  • maintain high level of sanitation awareness and conscientiousness
  • input daily event sheets and reports
  • produce menu items in a timely manner and according to company standards
  • follow directions precisely
  • maintain work area and proper food storage
  • adhere to company guidelines and house rules
  • exceed guest expectations
  • work as a team with associates and other service departments
