Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
- Completion of sanitation training
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Basic math proficiency

- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- Completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
- Skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective emotional regulation under pressure
- Ability to handle interpersonal conflicts efficiently
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Compile production packets
- Supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
- Uphold food production standards for safety and quality
- Ensure secure and organized storage of food products
- Adhere to serving times and menu requirements following company guidelines
- Maintain hygienic conditions compliant with health and safety regulations
- Accurately complete food safety and temperature records
- Update inventory weekly with precision
- Keep maintenance records for departmental equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and recommend equipment upgrades
- Monitor and assess staff performance for development and motivation
- Provide guidance to food service staff on operational guidelines
- Ensure a safe and hazard-free working environment
- Cover for absent staff as needed
- Maintain regular communication with employees
- Participate in team meetings
- Foster positive relationships and communication among team members and clients
- Stay up to date on daily catering schedules and ensure timely delivery
- Work sporadic evening and weekend catering functions
- Perform cashier responsibilities
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by Food Service Director or Manager
