Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or culinary operations
- completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- capability to handle multiple tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment
- legal authorization to work in the country
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving lifting and carrying
- commitment to maintaining safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- completion of a sanitation course within the required timeframe
- skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- effective emotional regulation under pressure
- ability to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively
- experience in supervisory roles within food service preferred
- knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service operations
- excellent communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- compile production packets
- supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
- uphold food safety and quality standards following policies and protocols
- maintain secure and organized food storage environments
- ensure meals are served according to menu requirements and Aramark guidelines
- maintain hygienic conditions compliant with health and safety standards
- accurately complete food safety and temperature records and address issues
- update inventory weekly and keep maintenance records for equipment
- conduct routine maintenance inspections and suggest equipment upgrades
- monitor and assess staff performance to foster development and teamwork
- provide guidance and support to food service staff
- maintain a safe working environment free from hazards
- cover for missing staff when necessary
- communicate regularly with team members
- participate in meetings with food service employees
- encourage positive relationships and strong public relations among team members and clients
- stay updated on catering schedules to ensure timely event preparation and delivery
- support evening and weekend catering functions
- perform cashier duties as required
- assist with special projects as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
