Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or culinary supervision
  • sanitation certification or willingness to obtain
  • strong communication and leadership abilities
  • ability to handle physical demands of the role
  • flexibility to work sporadic evening and weekend shifts
  • commitment to upholding health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • skilled in managing food service programs to optimize cost and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical computations
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • effective emotional regulation under pressure
  • conflict resolution skills
  • previous supervisory experience in food service preferred

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient operation
  • uphold food production quality and safety standards
  • ensure safe storage and handling of food products
  • maintain food safety records and address issues
  • update inventory weekly
  • monitor equipment maintenance and suggest upgrades
  • evaluate staff performance and provide support
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • cover for absent staff when needed
  • communicate regularly with team members
  • participate in team meetings
  • foster positive relationships and communication
  • prepare for and support catering events including evenings and weekends
  • perform cashier duties
  • assist with additional projects as directed
