Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service management preferred
- completion of sanitation training
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong communication skills
- leadership experience
- ability to monitor multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- completion of a sanitation course prior to or within first year of employment
- skilled in managing food service programs for cost efficiency
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to manage emotions under pressure
- effective conflict resolution skills
Job Duties
- Create and manage employee schedules
- compile production packets
- supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
- ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- maintain proper storage and hygiene in accordance with health and safety laws
- monitor serving times and meal distribution per menu guidelines
- complete accurate food safety and temperature records
- manage weekly inventory updates
- keep maintenance records for equipment
- conduct routine inspections and recommend upgrades
- assess and guide staff performance
- support food service staff adherence to operational guidelines
- maintain a safe working environment
- cover shifts as necessary
- maintain regular communication with team members
- participate in staff meetings
- foster positive team and client relationships
- update daily catering schedules
- work intermittent evening and weekend catering events
- perform cashier duties
- assist with special projects as directed
