Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food service or culinary operations
  • completion of sanitation course prior to or within first year of employment
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage and lead a team
  • basic math skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of a sanitation course within the first year of employment
  • proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • effective emotional regulation under pressure
  • ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts efficiently

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient functioning
  • uphold food production safety and quality standards
  • ensure secure and organized food product storage
  • maintain hygienic conditions per health regulations
  • complete food safety and temperature records accurately
  • update inventory weekly
  • monitor equipment maintenance needs
  • implement routine equipment inspections and upgrades
  • monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • provide staff guidance and support
  • maintain a safe working environment
  • cover for absent staff members when necessary
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in food service team meetings
  • foster positive relationships and communication among team members and clients
  • stay updated on catering schedules for timely event preparation
  • work occasional evening and weekend catering functions
  • perform cashier duties
  • support additional tasks as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
