The role of Culinary Supervisor at Aramark offers an exceptional opportunity to advance your professional career within a dynamic food service environment. This full-time supervisory position is integral to supporting the Food Services Team and ensuring smooth, efficient food production operations. You will work closely with management to organize and guide team activities while directly managing employees and providing hands-on support as needed. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and operational excellence. This role requires balancing daily production schedules, monitoring food safety compliance, managing inventory and equipment maintenance, and fostering team development.

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in scheduling and task management, overseeing the day-to-day functions critical to a streamlined kitchen operation. Your responsibilities include creating employee schedules, managing production packets, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality protocols, and maintaining thorough records of safety checks and temperature logs. You will also ensure that food service divisions remain hygienic and comply with health and safety regulations, reflecting Aramark’s dedication to consumer health and wellbeing.

Inventory and equipment maintenance are key components of this position. You will keep inventory records accurate and up to date, conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, and recommend equipment upgrades to meet operational demands. Supporting employee performance, you will monitor and assess staff productivity and motivation, provide coaching and constructive feedback, and encourage positive communication and relationships within the team.

Operationally, the Culinary Supervisor helps create a safe, hazard-free workplace by maintaining clear communication with employees and stepping in to cover shifts as necessary. Participation in employee meetings and events will further enhance team coordination and morale. Additional responsibilities include managing catering schedules, preparing for special events, handling cashier duties, and assisting with projects assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.

This position requires strong organizational skills, an ability to manage stress, and excellent conflict resolution capabilities. Experience in managing food service programs, proficiency in written and verbal communication, math skills, and completion of a sanitation course are essential.
